Google Play names Call Of Duty: Mobile as Best Game of 2019

Google Play has posted its yearly roundup of the best games of 2019, with Call of Duty: Mobile taking home the coveted title of being the best mobile game overall.

According to Google Play, the Best Game of 2019 should “be fun, accessible, and deliver compelling gameplay that’s a blast to play.”

The game should also push the boundaries of mobile gaming and, according to Google Play, Call of Duty: Mobile does just that.

Call of Duty: Mobile also won Users’ Choice Game of 2019, which isn’t that surprising given how popular the game proved to be. You can even play the game on Windows 10 if you don’t mind taking a few extra steps.

The game also managed to nab itself an award in the Best Competitive Games of 2019 category, along with Brawl Stars, Rumble Stars Football, Tacticool, and Tennis Clash: 3D Free Multiplayer Sports Games.

Meanwhile, CHUCHEL, G30 – A Memory Maze, Grimvalor, Stardew Valley, and Tiny Room Stories: Town Mystery all won in the Best Indie Games of 2019 category.

The Best Casual Games of 2019 category named Fishing Life, Golf Peaks, Mario Kart Tour, Toy Story Drop!, and Vineyard Valley: Match & Blast Puzzle Design Game as its winners.

Last, but definitely not least, the Best Innovative Games of 2019 saw Archero, Assassin’s Creed Rebellion: Adventure RPG, Auto Chess, The Elder Scrolls: Blades, and Minit all honoured as different, but in a good way.
