Google is finally rolling out its Buddy Passes for buyers of the Stadia’s Founder’s Edition. The Buddy Pass will let buyers share their Stadia access with another friend of their choice, this gives them access to three months of Stadia Pro for free.

They’ll be able to play some free Stadia games like Destiny 2 and Tomb Raider, but aside from that select few, they’ll be purchasing their own games if they want to continue using Stadia for more than what Buddy Pass offers.

A user on Reddit points out that this could serve as a replacement for a family plan, at least for the interim 3 months before Google gets its own family sharing feature ready.
