Gemini Advanced, a new subscription tier of the AI assistant Gemini, now lets users edit and run Python code snippets directly in its interface. This feature is exclusive to Gemini Advanced subscribers and is not available in the free version of Gemini.

“Exclusive to Gemini Advanced, you can now edit and run Python code snippets directly in Bard’s user interface. This allows you to experiment with code, see how changes affect the output, and verify that the code works as intended.”

According to Google, The feature caters to two primary use cases:

  • Learning: Aspiring programmers can leverage Gemini to experiment with code snippets, observe the impact of modifications, and gain a deeper understanding of coding principles. This interactive learning environment fosters a practical approach to mastering Python.
  • Verification: Developers can utilize Gemini to swiftly verify the functionality of AI-generated Python code before integrating it into their projects. This not only saves valuable time but also ensures the seamless operation of the implemented code.

Enterprise-grade data protections for Google Workspace customers will be available starting February 21st in Gemini. The new Gemini Business and Gemini Enterprise plans will provide access to one of Google’s most advanced AI models, 1.0 Ultra in Gemini, and offer enterprise-level data protection. 

Administrators can manage Gemini settings through the Google Workspace admin console. The plans are available and optimized in English in over 100 countries and territories.

This development signifies Google’s commitment to continuously improving Gemini and empowering its advanced users with cutting-edge functionalities.
