Google expands eSIM support in Pixel devices to more carriers around the world

Google yesterday announced that it is expanding eSIM support on Pixel 3 devices to more carriers around the world. U.S. customers can buy Pixel 3 device with eSIM through Google Fi or the Google Store. Customers in Germany can purchase Pixel 3 with eSIM from Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone soon. In the coming months, the following carriers will also roll out eSIM support for Pixel 3 devices: Sprint in the U.S., EE in the UK, Airtel and Reliance Jio in India, and Truphone and Gigsky in various countries.

Google is also creating a program that allows Android OEMs to build eSIM-capable devices with simple and consistent user experience.
