We’re only a few months away from the launch of Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S21 series and by now, there is nothing that we don’t know about the upcoming S21 lineup. However, there was not enough clarity on whether or not the most premium model that is the S21 Ultra will have support for the S Pen, until now. Leakster Ice Universe, who has a stellar record at leaking specs before the release, claims that the Galaxy S21 will support the S Pen.
However, it’s still not clear whether Samsung will bundle the S Pen with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. But if Vietnamese leaker @chunvn8888 is to be believed, the S21 Ultra users will have to buy the S Pen separately and unlike the Note20 Ultra, the S21 Ultra won’t have any magnet or hole to keep the pen attached with it. We’ll have to wait until the launch to find out whether or not the claim turns out to be true.
According to previous rumors, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a screen refresh rate of 144Hz. The smartphone will pack a 108MP primary rear camera, a 40MP front-facing camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will be powered by Snapdragon 875 and will be based on OneUI 3.0. That’s all the details that the tipster shared with us.
Rumour has it that the S21 Ultra will be (roughly) 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9mm (10.8mm, including the camera bump). The device will have standard features such as fast wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, Samsung Pay, microSD card slot, and HDR10+ video playback. Meanwhile, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S21 series in the month of January next year.
