Fortnite streamer MrDeadMoth has been arrested following a horrifying occurrence of alleged domestic abuse.
The incident happened on Sunday night. While playing the popular battle royale game, MrDeadMoth is asked by his girlfriend to stop playing Fortnite. After telling her to go away, the streamer exits the camera’s view and a large impactful sound can be heard. After this, his girlfriend began crying.
After the exchange, the woman offscreen says, “You fucking woman basher! Don’t hit me in the face. You hear that all you people up there? He just hit me in the face!”
All the streamer says is, “Fuck off, dog. You don’t pay the bills.” The woman is joined by two children in the background, also crying.
After MrDeadMoth’s arrest by the Camden Police Area Command in New South Wales, he was given conditional bail. His court date is set for December 13th. His girlfriend was able to be granted Australia’s version of a restraining order.
MrDeadMoth’s Twitter and Twitch accounts have both been deactivated following the incident.
