Mozilla Firefox today announced an experimental feature called PriceWise that will allow you to track prices of your favorite products across major retailers. It works similar to Microsoft’s
Shopping Companion extension. With PriceWise, you can add products to your Price Watcher list and get a desktop notification automatically every time the price drops. You can also click through directly from their list to purchase as soon as the price changes. This is an experimental feature and is currently available only in the U.S., and works with five major retailers: Best Buy, eBay, Amazon, Walmart, and The Home Depot. Firefox is planning to expand to more retailers in the future.
