Uber may be the dominant ride-hailing app in the west, but competition by traditional taxi companies helps keep it honest in non-western regions.
Fasttrack Taxi is an app which allows you to book and dispatch taxis in India. It essentially acts like JustEat in that it simplifies the friction experienced in getting the most appropriate taxi experience from disparate companies.
Their app received an update in the Windows phone store today to add a Maxi Cab booking feature, which means you can now book Maxi Cabs for larger parties and groups. Bug fixes and improvements were also had, but that’s to be expected.
