Far Cry 3 has been backward compatible on Xbox One for over a year now, but that didn’t stop Ubisoft from releasing it one more time. When Far Cry 5’s Season Pass was announced the company also revealed that Far Cry 3 Classic Edition would be included in it.

Season Pass holders have had the opportunity to jump into Far Cry 3 Classic Edition as it was available to them weeks earlier, and now everyone can join in on the fun. Far Cry 3 Classic Edition is available as a standalone purchase for $29.99 on the Microsoft Store.

Far Cry 3 is widely regarded as having the series’ best villain with the psychotic pirate Vaas. The game follows the story of a group of friends on vacation in the Rook Islands who are either killed or abducted by pirates in the hopes of selling them off.

Of course if you want the most bang for your buck and already own Far Cry 5, pick up the Season Pass for $29.99 instead. It’s the same price as Far Cry 3 Classic Edition and you not only receive the game but also get three expansions for Far Cry 5.
