eBay is killing its official Windows Phone app. The company’s official Windows Phone app now asks users to use the company’s mobile website instead, which is really disappointing to see. eBay isn’t the only company to do this — for instance, Amazon and PayPal recently killed their Windows Phone apps, asking users to use their websites. However, Amazon later released a Windows 10 web-wrapper app on the Windows Store.

eBay’s Windows Store app listing now states:

Starting September 30th, the eBay App for Windows will no longer be available. You can still shop on eBay by visiting us at www.ebay.com from your browser.

It isn’t yet known if eBay plans on bringing a Universal Windows App for Windows 10 devices in the near future. But for now, you’ll just have to use the company’s website on your Windows Phone device.
