Amazon recently killed its official app for Windows Phone. The company has been rumored to be working on a new Windows 10 app, and today, they have released the new app to its customers on Windows 10. Now, don’t get too excited: it’s just a web wrapper app. Amazon just used Windows 10’s Project Westminster to bring the app — this means you will get the exact same experience on the app which you will find on Amazon’s official websites. Unfortunately though, the app doesn’t take advantage of some of the new Windows 10 features, including things like Live Tiles and Push Notifications which is pretty annoying to see. The app includes a settings page where you can change the region settings, and that’s about it.

As the app is just a web wrapper app, you’ll get all the features which you’ll find on Amazon.com — including personalized recommendations, Amazon Prime, controlling  your Amazon Account, etc. If  you want to install the app on your Windows 10 device, you can grab it from the link below — but keep in mind that it isn’t available for Mobile devices.
