Dragon Age 4

Listings for the next game in the Dragon Age series have, bizarrely enough, shown up on GameStop Ireland’s website. Sadly, the listings are most likely a mistake or a hoax by an over-eager employee, especially as BioWare has confirmed that Dragon Age 4 won’t be out for a long while.

The game pages are very thin on the ground, featuring only previously released promotional art and nothing else. They don’t even have a publisher, genre, or release date.

The PC version of Dragon Age 4 is apparently going for €59.99, which is around $67, while the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are both listed at €69.99 ($78).

GameStop Ireland also promises a free Pop Vinyl figure when you pre-order a game, which is nice.

When added to your cart, all three games cite a release date of 29/12/2019. However, it’s most likely just a placeholder date, although 31/12/2019 would make more sense.

At the time of publishing, all three listings are still up and available here, here, and here. This author isn’t quite ready to drop 60/70 Euros on finding out whether this pre-order will be honoured, especially as the listings are most likely a fluke.

If you do decide to try and pre-order, however, let us know how it goes. At worst, you’ll be out 60 Euros. At best, you’ll be one of the first to receive Dragon Age 4 whenever it’s released.

We’ll keep you updated in case the listings are taken down. In the meantime, consider reading our article about things we’d like to see in Dragon Age 4.
