Huawei’s recent release the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro are interesting smartphones in a number of ways. Aside from being the world’s first smartphone to have integrated 5G, the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro are Huawei’s first Android smartphones without Google services.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro is powered by the latest 16-core Kirin 990 processor and it features a 6.53-inch curved OLED display with a screen resolution of 2400×1176. For the sake of comparison, the iPhone 11 Pro Max features a display resolution of 1242 x 2688.
The smartphone has an impressive camera system at the back, we’re talking 40MP 27mm f/1.8 primary lens, 16MP 17mm f/2.2 ultra-wide, 8MP 80mm f/2.4 OIS telephoto, 40MP “Cine Camera.” That’s right, four cameras! You’ll also be able to record 4K videos at 60fps. For selfies, the Mate 30 Pro has a 32 MP selfie shooter.
Other specs include a 4,500mAh battery, with support for 40W wired and 27W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging, and an in-display fingerprint reader.
All this will cost you a cool 1,100 euros($1,216). But, if 1,100 euros is too much for you, you can make your existing Android smartphone partially look like the Mate 30 Pr0 by downloading the stock wallpapers of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. If your smartphone has resolution closer to that to that of the Mate 30 Pro, it’ll be even easier for your smartphone to mimic the Mate 30 Pro.
