It’s been a while since Algoriddim released a major update for djay Pro for Windows. Now, the tech maker added a number of new features and improvements, including plug-and-play compatibility with over 100 industry-standard DJ controllers and audio interfaces.
Billed as v. 5.0.4014.0, DJs using Windows can now simply connect their controller to their computer and start using djay Pro without having to worry about installing drivers or configuring settings.
In addition to plug-and-play compatibility, the new update for djay Pro also includes a number of other new features and improvements — like the DVS (Digital Vinyl System), the addition of Beatport and Beatsource streaming (besides Tindal and SoundCloud), the “Neural Mix” technology, and better user interface.
DVS allows DJs to use turntables and timecode vinyl to control digital music, giving them the precision and control of analog gear with the flexibility of digital audio.
“DJs can isolate and manipulate individual elements of any song in real-time, offering endless creative possibilities,” the update reads.
djay Pro is available for download on the Microsoft Store. Or, you can also read the official changelog of the current version here.
