The Disqus app for Windows 10 has been updated once again with some new improvements. With the latest update, Disqus is adding support for notifications which means you will now get notified by Disqus whenever someone replies to any of your posts or comments. Disqus has also improved the UI of the app with new, native Windows 10 icons which looks much better than the custom ones from Disqus.

Here’s the full changelog:

  • New Notifications! You can now get notified when someone replies to you, and the app will periodically update the count when open
  • Modern look and feel! Replaced most of the app icons with more modern-Windows ones, and made smaller UI tweaks
  • Updated translations, added Dutch as an option, and added a “Help Translate” link to the feedback popup
  • The app will now require at least the Anniversary update
  • Fixed an issue where comments from a user would appear even when you blocked them
  • Fixed an issue where linked image/gif URLs wouldn’t embed the image

These new features and improvements are part of the latest update for Disqus 4.0.14 which you can get from the Windows Store below. Keep in mind that the app is in beta, so there might be some rough edges at the moment.
