Discord new mobile app is finally here. Launched today on Tuesday, the popular app is bringing a lot of exciting new updates in the pipeline.

“We designed mobile as its own independent experience — as something you can use as your main Discord app when you’re on the go, not as something you use alongside the desktop app,” says the company in its official announcement

The now-rejuvenated popular app now has a separate tab for servers and messages, a much better searching and media-sharing experience, and most importantly, a dark mode for devices with OLED screens.

The latter had been in beta testing for quite a long time. It’s called the “Midnight” theme, and from what they say, it can save “a little bit of battery” on the mentioned smartphones. ‘

The new Discord mobile app also promises a faster open time, reducing by 55% on Android and 43% on iOS. It caches recent messages from up to 700 text channels and DMs, allowing for faster, buffer-less loading when switching between conversations.

Besides, you can also now select even more pics and videos at once, even the high-quality ones (up to 25 MB), and upload away.

You can download Discord new mobile app refresh on App Store for iOS or Play Store for Android.
