Dell today announced the updated XPS 15 laptop with latest Intel processors and upgraded graphics. The good news is that Dell is going to offer this laptop with Intel 8th Gen H-series processors and you can also get a 6-core, 12-thread Core i7-8750H SKU as well. The current gen XPS 15 came with GeForce GTX 1050 graphics, Dell has now upgraded it to GeForce GTX 1050 Ti for improved graphics performance.
Apart from the upgraded internals, you won’t be able to find any difference from the current gen XPS 15. Following user feedback, Dell has upgraded the Thunderbolt port to a full four-lane implementation to support maximum transfer speeds. Dell is promising up to 21.5 hours of battery life on the full HD model, so you can expect around 10-hours of battery life on 4K display model.
The new Dell XPS 15 will be available for order from April 16 starting at $999.
