In the wake of the news that Borderlands 3 is finally official, there’s now an extremely impressive deal on Borderlands: The Handsome Collection on Steam.
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection consists of Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and all of the add-on content for both games. There’s 52 items in the bundle and it’s currently at a 94% discount, meaning you can get everything for just $14.37 instead of $229.48. If you’re in the UK, it’s £11.16 instead of £181.98.
Borderlands 2 is the second main instalment in the Borderlands series. Set five years after the events of the first game, several Vault Hunters are betrayed by the handsome but devilish Handsome Jack and are left for dead in a snowy wasteland.
A mysterious Garden Angel contacts them and tasks them with killing Handsome Jack and saving the planet of Pandora from his ruthless (but handsome!) rule. Shoot and loot your way across the world and enact your revenge however you see fit.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is set sometime between Borderlands and Borderlands 2 and follows the tale of a few aspiring Vault Hunters who fight alongside Handsome Jack. The game also focuses on Jack’s transformation from the aspiring but handsome Jack into the tyrannical (but still handsome!) Jack we know and hate in Borderlands 2.
As a nice bonus, The Handsome Collection is set to receive a free and also optional visual upgrade on April 3rd, the same day more news about Borderlands 3 is set to come out. The upgrade supports resolutions up to and including 4K and did we mention it’s completely free?
