Steam now offers a free version of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for those wishing to partake in the action without shelling out actual money.

There is a catch to this offer, however. The free edition doesn’t actually allow online play. Instead, you’ll be stuck playing offline against bots. It also lets players spectate matches through GOTV. You can find its Steam store page here.

If you do want the full edition, it’ll only cost you $14.99. Now this is the version that gives you everything as it “enables access to online content and features, including multiplayer gameplay, official matchmaking, in-game inventories, skill groups, XP, ranks, and other online features.”
