Content violation on ChatGPT results in a warning message, exemplified by a Redditor’s persistent attempts at engaging in X-rated explicit conversations with the bot.
User u/Whwhsdh recounts their encounter on the AI chatbot’s online forum, disclosing their ongoing engagement in explicit conversations with ChatGPT from the initial stages. Despite avoiding any prior consequences, they recently received a cautionary email from OpenAI, the company behind the hot-wanted chatbot.
“Been sexting with ChatGPT since the beginning and continuously improving my jailbreaking skills. Sometimes my inputs are red or orange flagged but never got any trouble before. However today, the second after one of my inputs was orange flagged, I received an email threatening to terminate my services. Has anyone received similar emails?,” the post reads.
The conduct displayed by the user runs counter to OpenAI’s content restrictions policy. The AI chatbot employs text flagging mechanisms to identify and address content that violates its guidelines, which explicitly prohibit the inclusion of sexually stimulating material, such as explicit descriptions of sexual activity or the promotion of sexual services (excluding sex education and wellness).
In the event that the chatbot detects text that could potentially breach its content policies, users will be issued an orange warning message stating that the content may contravene the guidelines.
