Command and Conquer fans were not very happy this E3 when EA announced the mobile game Command and Conquer: Rivals. Instead, they were hoping for a true C&C game, and now they’re getting two! Or rather, two remakes of old ones.

Command and Conquer: Tiberian Dawn and Command and Conquer: Red Alert are both getting full remasters by Petroglyph Games, the studio behind games like Star Wars: Empire at War and Grey Goo to develop this new collection.

Both games will feature not only their original content remastered for 4K displays, but will also feature every piece of DLC. EA has promised that the collection will also not feature any microtransactions – it’s a weird flex coming from EA, but okay.

This collection may take a while to come to PC gamers as development hasn’t actually started yet. The team has said that development will be more transparent than other EA projects with frequent updates being posted to the official Command and Conquer subreddit and other community channels.
