Longhorn is the codename for the OS that was to be Windows XP’s successor. Windows Longhorn development failed and eventually Windows Vista became the successor of Windows XP. Even though Microsoft was not able to deliver Longhorn to end users, it had huge plans. You can see the demo of AERO UX that was part of Windows Longhorn in the video above. This video is a portion of Hillel Cooperman’s PDC 2003 Windows Longhorn AERO presentation.
