Microsoft’s Windows Store may not surface the data to let users know whether apps are still being currently supported or not, but that hasn’t stopped enterprising developers from making user-friendly methods for curious users to learn that information themselves.

We earlier reported on WP Snitch as a tool that allowed Windows Phone users to see when an app was last updated. It was limited at its infancy to only be able to search out data for apps which ran on Windows Phone 8.1 and below.

Now, WP Snitch has been updated to showcase the data for both Windows 10 and Windows Phone apps. It doesn’t seem to be 100% accurate at the moment for some apps – Slack for Windows Phone 8, for instance, showed up to us as last updated in 2015 which isn’t true. For the most part, at least you can now have a rough idea of the app support landscape if that’s something you’re interested in.

All you need to do is to copy and enter the URL of the relevant app into the search box, and the web-app will serve you up all the data you need to know.
