Back in 2014, alongside Windows Phone 8.1, Microsoft also previewed a live lockscreen app for Windows phones. This app would let Windows phone users change their lock screen to different, more interesting variations. While the app was eventually released, it was in beta, very buggy, and therefore it never got off the ground.

This app was eventually abandoned, and then later pulled from the Windows Store. It’s now back (spotted by Aggiornamenti Lumia), inexplicably, and can be downloaded on both Windows Phone 8 devices and Windows 10 Mobile handsets. It’s not very useful as mentioned above, but if you’re really into customisation and have a Windows 10 Mobile phone, it may be worth giving this a look again.
