Call of Duty is pushing gaming boundaries in an all-new mobile version of the AAA franchise.

Call of Duty: Mobile is a full-fledged COD game for your phone. Taking inspiration from Black Ops and Modern Warfare (sorry, Advanced Warfare), it aims to be the definitive portable FPS experience.

Free-for-All, Search and Destroy and more are confirmed modes. Nuketown, Hijacked, Crash and more are just a handful of maps you can play on. Weapons, scorestreaks, and loadouts all return – it’s a full COD game on your phone.

At the end of the trailer, two modes are teased for the mobile incarnation. Not only is there a version of the classic Zombies mode, but even a mobile version of COD’s Blackout Battle Royale mode. Now, that’s impressive.

Announced during Unity’s GDC keynote, Call of Duty: Mobile is a partnership between Activision and Tencent. With Tencent’s work on PUBG Mobile and many other mobile titles, they’re certainly a great choice.

Acvitision VP of mobile Chris Pummer said, “Together with the amazing team at Tencent, we’re bringing together a collection of the most beloved maps, competitive modes, familiar characters and signature weapons from across this storied franchise into one epic experience.”

Those who want to get into Call of Duty: Mobile can pre-register on the game’s website for iOS. Android users can also pre-register on the Play Store.
