It seemed with the recent WhatsApp beta the end has come for WhatsApp on Windows Phone, with the app complaining that “your version of WhatsApp does not support” messages received.
The bug seemed to particularly affect picture messages being sent, but also affected regular text.
Build 2.17.140 of course introducedĀ a scroll button to easily scroll back down to the bottom of your message list, and while not a world-shattering feature seemed to be enough to break the app.
