Update: We have cross-referenced and can now confirm that Build 17746 won’t be the RTM Build. Microsoft hasn’t finalized the build yet and we expect Windows Insiders on Fast Ring to get frequent builds with final changes before the public rollout.

Original Story: Microsoft is just weeks away from rolling out Redstone 5 to Windows 10 users. The latest update is set to bring a lot of new features like dark mode to File Explorer and Your Phone app. However, Microsoft hasn’t disclosed the final release date yet but is working on finalizing the RTM build.

Although, it seems the company has finalized the RTM build. If everything goes according to the plan, Build 17746 will be the RTM build. We have been making speculations about the final RTM build for a while but Microsoft has removed Watermark and Expiration date from Build 17746. This indicates that it is either the final RTM build or a candidate for RTM.

We still have to wait for Microsoft to confirm the RTM build but Build 17746 might be the RTM build if all goes according to the plan.

Thank you David for the tip!
