Square Enix and Nintendo are nuzzling each other again with some glorious exclusive JRPGs. This time it’s Bravely Default 2.

Coming to the Nintendo Switch next year, the next entry in the Bravely Default series is set to continue Square Enix’s legacy of awesome JRPGs for Nintendo. After the stunning Octopath Traveler, we’re excited to see what the team does this time around.

An original RPG experience is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2020 from the team that brought you the Bravely series and Octopath Traveler, and featuring music from Revo, acclaimed composer of the original Bravely Default soundtrack.
A new world, a new story and all-new Heroes of Light await!

Bravely Default is a key modern franchise for Nintendo gamers. With the original 3DS entry in the series being a beacon of quality for the system, along with the sequel Bravely Second, this curiously titled sequel could be an amazing title for Nintendo Switch owners.

Announced during The Game Awards, alongside the announcement of the next-gen Xbox Series X and the first PlayStation 5 game, there appears to be a whole host of amazing news to reveal today.
