Boku Brings Carrier Billing to Windows 10 users on Orange in France

Carrier Billing company Boku has expanded its support for direct carrier billing for Microsoft Store purchases, even on Windows 10 desktops and laptops, to enable Orange France users to pay for items in the Windows Store using their phone credit.

The deal will allows Orange France users  to add their mobile phone account as a payment method in the Windows Store and pay for their apps, music and media via their mobile phone bill.

This is the first time carrier billing will be offered as a payment option for the Windows Store in France and will be available across a full range of devices including Windows Phones, Surface Tablets and any PC or laptop running Windows 10.

France is one of the top global markets for Windows 10 adoption, which currently has over 400 Million downloads globally. Orange boasts over 29 Million subscribers, nearly 40% marketshare, in France.

Boku has earlier supported Windows Store carrier billing on UK, Italy,Poland and Sprint in US.
