A job listing for a Dungeon Artist on Blizzard’s website indicates that the studio is working on a new Diablo project.

You can read an excerpt from the job listing which mentions the project below.

The minions of Hell are growing stronger…

We’re working on a new, unannounced Diablo project. Are you a skilled Dungeon Artist? Come work with us, and together we will build something exceptional.

Our team of talented developers is growing. Our backgrounds are diverse, but we all share a real passion for what we do. We believe that if you’re looking for a tight-knit crew that celebrates self-expression and embraces collaboration, we might be a phenomenal fit for you.

The rest of the listing is pretty standard with no real specifics about whatever this Diablo project may be. One area mentions that the potential candidate will “author environmental assets for a modern pipeline including modeling, and texturing assets for the Diablo World.” Whether this is a full-blown sequel and Blizzard is working on Diablo 4 or if its another expansion for Diablo 3 in unknown.

Diablo 3 first released six years ago and has received a few major expansions over the years, culminating with Rise of the Necromancer in 2017.
