We are at the stage where every new extension for the Edge browser is still news. The latest arrival in the Windows Store is the Bitwarden password manager, available for nearly all desktop browsers, mobile and the web.

Bitwarden makes it easy and safe to store all of your logins and passwords while conveniently keeping them synced between all of your devices.

Bitwarden stores all of your logins in an encrypted vault that syncs across all of your devices. Since it’s fully encrypted before it ever leaves your device, only you have access to your data, meaning not even the team at bitwarden can read your data, even if we wanted to. Your data is sealed with AES-256 bit encryption, salted hashing, and PBKDF2 SHA-256.

More importantly, the app also helps you instantly generate strong passwords, protecting you from brute force hacking and password sharing between sites.

The extension is free and can be found in the Windows Store here.
