Bing’s Merchant Promotions is leaving its pilot status in the US, bringing deals and savings to its shoppers. The pilot program initially launched in September 2016, giving sellers the ability to increase traffic volume, improve market share, and inform customers on promotions and deals before they click.

As the image above shows, Merchant Promotions appear as clickable pop ups when Bing displays shopping results, showing deals and special offers that pertain to certain products or are site-wide in your store.

Those interested just need to fill out a form to apply for Merchant Promotions. Microsoft stated that the approval process takes 3-4 business days.

You can create a promotion in three easy steps:

  1. Click the Promotions tab (will be visible once you’re approved for the program).
  2. Click Create promotion and enter the details of the promotion.
  3. Click Save and you’re done!
