In an interview with Bloomberg’s Erik Schatzker in Boston, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said that Microsoft’s $26.2 billion acquisition of LinkedIn is a great transaction and that the two companies will have a lot of synergies together. He spoke about the LinkedIn newsfeed which he expects people to use it for their carreer and industry news similar to how they use Facebook for their social needs. When asked about whether there is a possibility of Microsoft screwing up LinkedIn deal, he responded that there are talented people involved to avoid such things.
