Are all Windows phone 7 handsets created equally? We should soon find out, with Robert Varga of the ComputeMark DirectX11 benchmarking fame creating WP Bench for Windows Phone 7, which will measure multiple aspects of Windows phone 7 performance, including memory, storage and GPU performance.
While Microsoft’s intent is that all Windows Phone 7 handsets perform consistently, I think many users feel some devices perform better than others. We should soon have some facts to support those opinions.
From my searches the app has not hit Marketplace yet, but it should be available soon.
