Yesterday marked the 100 year anniversary of the end of the First World War. In celebration, Battlefield 1 players partook in a cease-fire.

A video of the event was posted to the official Battlefield subreddit. While the cease-fire didn’t last long, players did make sure to end it in glorious murder fashion – the typical gamer end to a peaceful day.

While the peaceful moment didn’t last long, seeing anything like this is still a surprise.

Battlefield 1 is currently available on Xbox One for £34.99/$39.99.
