Bandai Namco’s 'WRC 6' coming to Xbox One in March 2017

Bandai Namco is bringing the official video game of the 2016 FIA World Rally Championship to Xbox One, PC and PS4 sometime in March 2017. The game will include the 14 WRC events, all the official WRC drivers and teams, as well as a wide selection of WRC 2 and Junior WRC drivers. To help friends compete against each other, WRC 6 includes a split-screen multiplayer mode, challenging new stages, weekly challenges, the eSports WRC Championship, and more realistic vehicle behavior to help players lose themselves in the rush of competition.

The game was released on October 7th in other countries, but is now finally seeing a North American release. Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing for BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc accompanied the announcement with the following statement:

“WRC 6 captures the pure exhilaration of high speed rally racing, depicting each narrow passageway, grinding hairpin turn and challenging terrain that consistently makes the World Rally Championship an exciting competition for fans around the world. With online and split-screen modes and challenges for all level of players, WRC 6 is the real deal.”
