AT&T has announced on their support site they will not be delivering the 8107 software update for Windows Phone 7 handsets on their network, leaving hundreds of thousands of Windows Phone 7 users stuck with keyboards which disappear constantly, not to mention numerous other bugs.

This would be the second update AT&T has skipped, after not delivering 7740, making a joke of the earlier rumour that a carrier can only skip one update.

We think this is a massive breach of trust, and we think the refusal to fix a bug which interfered with the regular functioning of the phone makes them no longer fit for purpose.  Maybe a queue of Windows Phone users in small claims court is what AT&T needs to sort out their update story.
