AT&T bringing U-verse to HTC HD7s

imageAT&T has announced the expansion of their U-verse Mobile app to the HTC HD7s.

The service offers downloads of about 700 episodes from more than 100 TV series to U-verse TV subscribers for no additional charge for those with the U200 programming package or higher.

The TV shows are from networks including ABC, ABC Family, Discovery, Animal Planet, Disney Channel, ESPN, PBS, TLC, A&E, Bio, Cartoon Network, History, HGTV and Food Network. U-verse Mobile also lets subscribers browse the U-verse TV program guide, schedule and manage their DVR recordings.

“As you’re heading out for your summer road trip or vacation, U-verse Mobile is a great app to keep the family entertained, and at no extra cost,” said Jeff Weber, vice president of video services, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “Our U-verse TV customers can get popular shows on our most popular smartphones and watch from anywhere, and we’ll continue to expand the choices and availability.”

The app comes pre-loaded on the AT&T Windows Phone 7 smartphones.
