Asus VivoTab 8 Windows

ASUS has quietly announced VivoTab 8 (M81C) 8-inch Windows Tablet. This is designed especially slim to enable one-handed use for writing notes, and at just 330g it’s light enough to use for hours. It has slim bezels, IPS high-definition display and elegant aesthetic design. It is powered by Intel Atom™ Z3745 processor, supports up to 32GB of solid-state storage plus up to 64GB MicroSD, rear and front facing cameras, Miracast support, dual speakers, optional accessories including MagSmart Cover, Carry Me Cover and folio cover. It also includes Microsoft Office 365 Personal (for 1 year) subscription. The device is expected to be priced below $200 and go on sale before end of this year.

Microsoft Store is already selling Asus VivoTab Note 8 Windows tablet. VivoTab Note 8 comes with 8-inch HD touchscreen powered by Intel Atom Z3740 CPU, 2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage. Also, it offers up to 8 hours battery life. The main advantage of VivoTab Note 8 over its competitors is its support for Wacom digital stylus. With over 1,000 levels of pressure sensitivity, the stylus delivers pinpoint control and makes writing and drawing on the screen feel as natural as on paper. When not in use, you can store it in a holder at the tablet’s bottom edge. The VivoTab Note 8 also comes with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 (a $139 value)

Microsoft is selling the 32GB version for just $249. Find the listing here.
