Apple's next year iPhone models will cost more than current gen models

Apple first started the trend of $999 flagship device with the iPhone X. With the iPhone XS Max, the price increased to $1099. According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple may increase the price of its next year iPhone series even higher. Kuo mentioned the following as the reasons because of which Apple may increase the price of 2020 iPhones.
- New materials for metal frame that involve complex processing.
- 5G support with Qualcomm modem.
- New camera upgrades including the 3D ToF sensor on the back.
