Apple is rumoured to be launching not one, not two, but three iPhone models this year and now more evidence has emerged to support that hypothesis.

While we aren’t sure whether the firm will launch them all at once or staggered time periods, the firm has made a step towards a device Apple has registered the models A1920, A1921, A1984, A2097, A2098, A2099, A2101, A2103, A2104, A2105 and A2106.

Spotted by MacRumors, none of these codenames correspond with any of Apple’s existing devices and device codes like this have been able to give up secrets like the existence of new iPads prior to their launches.

We’ll learn more about Apple’s iPhone plans later this year either at Apple’s WWDC or sometime later in the summer when the firm holds its iPhone launch event.
