Apple today announced the general availability of macOS Catalina for all users. Like the previous versions of macOS, it is available as a free software update. This new macOS Catalina comes with several new features such as Apple Arcade, all-new Mac versions of Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and Apple TV apps, new Sidecar feature extends Mac desktops with iPad as a second display, ability to use voice control the OS and more.

Mac Catalyst in macOS Catalina allows third-party developers to bring their iPad apps to Mac with minimal effort. Also, Screen Time feature which was popular on iOS is now available on Mac. This feature giving users insight into how they spend time in apps and on websites, and the ability to decide how to spend their time.
