We have seen several reports from the past that Apple is working on an AR headset. Today, the news was confirmed by Apple itself through iOS 13 final build which was released for developers. In a read me file available in the build, Apple has mentioned steps for developers on how to test AR apps without the AR headset. Apple is referring to AR headset apps as Stereo AR enabled apps.

Since the headset is already under testing internally by employees, we expect Apple to release it next year. If you are planning to buy the newly released iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max, you need to rethink your plan. The next year’s iPhone could be revolutionary.
