Apple admits iPhone 4 drops more call than 3GS, hoped Eminem will fix it

Apple has admitted the new antenna design they have been so proud off when the iPhone 4 was announced in practice results in more dropped calls than the iPhone 3GS. They did not reveal exactly how many calls were dropped by the phone, but of course we do know the 3GS was pretty notorious for this.
Steve Jobs went on to promise free bumpers for all users, but continued to make light of the design issue, saying “Maybe Eminem will come out with a band-aid that goes over the corner and everyone will want that.†Who knows, maybe Eminem does know more than Apple’s 18 PhD’s and $100 million antenna testing facility…
Or maybe Sky TV’s solution is really the best after all 🙂
