ANZ bank still working on a Windows Phone app, but don't expect it this year

We first wrote about Australian bank ANZ’s plans for a Windows Phone app in April this year, but unfortunately it seems there has not been a lot of movement in this front, as the company remains the last major Australian bank not to have a Windows Phone app.
Fortunately the app still appears to be on the way, as their Facebook Support has promised the Mobile Team was working on an app. They unfortunately also confirmed not to expect the well overdue app in the next few weeks either, so holding one’s breath may not be a good idea.
Maybe we should all take inspiration from Amber, who asked the question, and who ultimately chose to remain with her Windows Phone and switch to a bank which supported her better.
