The new API’s in Mango allows developers to create shortcuts to setting pages, creating a new class of applications making use of this feature.
Nazer Aminou, a French student developer has jus released WP Shortcut Tiles, an app which allow you to pin many useful shortcuts to your start page including:
- cellular settings
- Wi-Fi settings
- Bluetooth settings
- airplane mode settings
- new email
- new text message (sms)
- share status via social network
There is a dedicated button for deleting all added tiles, in the app home page. All tiles are auto updated with the current theme and background color (black or with).
