ItHome.com’s sources has confirmed that the new Windows 10 Mobile flagships will be coming soon, and will in fact be called the Lumia 950 and 950 XL, rather than the 940 a previously rumoured.

The handsets are expected to hit the market in the October/November time frame and will both feature slim metal bodies and USB-C with Continuum support.

The leaked specs are as follow:

Talkman
(Microsoft Lumia 950)
Cityman

(Microsoft Lumia 950 XL)

  • 5.2 inch 2K resolution screen
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon six-core processor (Snapdragon 808)
  • 3GB Memory
  • 32GB built-in memory, support for microSD expansion
  • 20-megapixel rear camera
  • 5 megapixel front camera
  • 3000 mAh removable battery
  • USB Type-C
  • Support Continuum via accessory cable (not supplied)
  • Full Metal slim unibody
  • 5.7 inch 2K resolution screen
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon eight-core processor (Snapdragon 810)
  • 3GB Memory
  • 32GB built-in memory, support for microSD expansion
  • 20-megapixel rear camera, three LED flash
  • 5 megapixel front camera

Interestingly the leak suggests only the larger device will have a triple LED flash, but that both devices will have 2K screens, which is not exactly consistent with the other leaks.
