Amazon is expected to announce a bunch of new hardware on September 25. The company will surely launch a couple of Alexa powered Echo devices including an Alexa-powered robot and a high-end smart speaker.

We don’t have any evidence of the existence of an Alexa-powered robot and it’s nothing more than just a rumour. However, Amazon sure is looking to expand their portfolio. According to CNBC’s sources, Amazon is developing a pair of Alexa-powered wireless earbuds that double as a fitness-tracking device. The wireless earbuds are codenamed “Puget” and are expected to come with a built-in accelerometer. Apart from that, Amazon is also developing a larger Alexa-ready network speaker which will be named Amazon Echo Studio.

The earbuds will be priced around $100 to give a tough competition to Apple AirPods and Samsung Galaxy Buds. They will still need to be connected to an Android or iOS device. The good thing is we won’t have to wait for long to find more information about the new Alexa devices as the event is scheduled for tomorrow in Seattle.
