Amazon today released the must-awaited update for its Alexa iOS app. This update finally allows users to control the Alexa assistant using their voice. Users can now just tap the Alexa button inside the Alexa app and use their voice to ask Alexa to play music, answer questions, check weather, and more.

Unfortunately, due to restrictions in iOS, users can control Alexa using their voice only when they are inside the Alexa app. This update also includes bug fixes and performance improvements.

Download the updated app here from App Store.
