Recently we reported that Alexa can record your favorite shows for you and now it looks like Amazon can help you with your family announcements. Starting today, Amazon is rolling out a new feature called Alexa Announcements which will let users broadcast messages on all the Alexa enabled Echo devices.

Amazon already had a feature called Drop-in where you could use Echo devices as an intercom to communicate but this new feature takes it to the next level by simultaneously broadcasting the message across all the devices in the home. To use this feature, users need to sayย โ€œAlexa, announce that…โ€ โ€œAlexa, tell everyoneโ€ฆโ€ and โ€œAlexa, broadcastโ€ฆโ€ย followed by your message.

Alexa announcements are rolling out to US and Canada starting today and will support all the Echo devices Echo, Echo Plus, Echo Dot, and Echo Look.
